Because there is no chlorine, bacteria tend to grow in the water inside the bottle or chilled water tank. Therefore, we have advanced UV-LED light technology installed in the chilled water tank that kills up to 99.9% of bacteria**.
The UV-LED light activates for one hour once the dispenser is plugged in and then activates for one hour every two hours to ensure the water remains clean.
